I'd personally like to see a few examples of popular 18+ RPGMaker games that were self-published. I've actually seen a couple 18+ RPGMaker games on Steam that were not published by Kagura, and had about the same amount of popularity as most other RPGMaker games, which is none.
I feel like a lot of people under-value the fact that these games have an actual publisher and are also marketed to Chinese consumers, which is, IIRC, the biggest gaming market in the world. I'd like to hear another opinion on this topic. things that happen as the story progresses. If i do make games with 18+ content, i'd like to make it more along the lines of a visual novel, where the story is still the main focus and the adult scenes are just. in case you don't know, kagura games is a publisher that specializes in 18+ games, often made in rpg maker.
